There has been no other medium that has developed in such a short period of time in Austria or worldwide. With the GFK online monitor, the professional workers of GFK Media have found that with 80 percent of the 14 to 59 year olds population already using the internet, the internet can already be described as being the universal medium. They have found that 95 percent of the under 20 years old population take advantage of the internet. The internet has become indispensable in the places where the internet can make the daily life easier to live by online shopping and online banking.
