Radio Receivers and Frequencies

November 18th, 2007 | by admin |

The main difference is in the cycles per second or the frequency of a radio signal. Different Radio Receivers will be made or set to receive specific “bands” or a set of frequencies near to each other. To get specific frequencies, Radio Receivers are tuned to the desired signal. The Radio Receivers then convert the radio signal into something that we could interpret; usually sound in the context of an ordinary radio set but a whole host of other things when we consider all the things that contain receivers such as television sets, mobile and cordless phones, and computers.
