Portable Satellite Radio Receivers

July 25th, 2008 | by admin |

There are a number of portable satellite radio receivers to speak of. Some of the major receivers produced by XM satellite are Delphi receivers. The Delphi MyFi, Roady and Roady2 are extremely efficient. The Pioneer Company’s AirWare receivers and the Tao produced by the Giant International. Sirius Satellite Radio has the Sirius S 50, the Here2Anyhwhere portable receiver, and the Stiletto 100. Portable receivers come with antennas that can be mounted on the satellite radio or on the outside of the house—most often the roof. The receiver needs a clear view of the sky in order to get its best reception.
