Can Your Telephone Line handle A Higher DSL Speed

November 17th, 2007 | by admin |

I live in an small village and was stuck on dial-up until only a couple of years ago. When my telephone company opened up DSL as an option I jumped at the chance. It was expensive and I didn’t get a lot for my money, but as an Internet addict I didn’t care. It wasn’t until my contract ended a year later that I found my telephone line could actually handle a higher dsl speed. Before choosing my next DSL service provider I did a little research which paid off big time. I ended up paying half the original amount and connecting at three times my original speed.
