Tips on the Linux certification test

A great way for any IT professional to prove there worth to the organization they work for is to achieve a certification in Linux. But a person must take a Linux certification test before this can be accomplished.

The length of time required to take this test can vary. Mostly it will be from two to three hours but some of the more complex certifications can take up to a full day.

You can take the test with several different organizations with the most common being Red Hat, Novell, SAIR, and the Linux Professional Institute. Make sure that you do the proper studying beforehand.
