Cable Testing Software Can Sometimes Be A Waste.
August 11th, 2008 | by admin |The first and foremost step that needs to be taken when testing a cable is the visual step. Let's say you go and research a fluke cable tester to find out what is best because your entertainment equipment is not working and you have no idea why. You find the right hardware and software for what you think the problem is and you spend $195.00 on it. You get the cable testing software and about 30 minutes later, the software finds out that there is a pinch in one of the lines. You search around your entertainment equipment just to find there is a part of the cable that was nailed to the wall. If the visual step would have been done, there would have been no need for the software.
